Deze met elkaar verbonden trappen en platformen op de Academie Tien in Utrecht, Nederland, vormen een van de grootste trappencomplexen ooit gemaakt en geïnstalleerd door EeStairs. De trappen, in een groot centraal atrium met meerdere verdiepingen, zijn cruciaal voor het ethos van de school van visuele openheid en verbonden activiteiten. De enorme omvang van dit project kan in één cijfer worden samengevat: de stalen trappen vereisten 350 m aan leuningen.

There is a reason they do not show people going up and especially coming down from these stairs. The 1 m/2 stairs are a theoretical thingy but dangerous in practice.
Assuming a 9 foot ceiling height, you're going to hit your head on the ceiling on the sixth step if you're taller than 5 feet.
Because of the slanted stringer and turn from step 6 your head is under the stairwell and you do not hit the head. This is unique for this 1m2 patented small stairs by EeStairs.
@@eestairsit’s possible, therefor it’s wrong. As soon as someone hits their head they’ll be cursing your product

Is this stairwell ADA compliant?
The stairs are invented in stead of the ladder going up to the attic. Because you can hold on to the handrail it is saver then the ladder. It is not ment as a main stairs, however a lot of people do because of small space.

I'd like to use this in one of my never too small projects in Reykjavik, Iceland. I'm working on introducing space saving architecture for first time in Iceland as we are running out of building zones in Reykjavik.
